Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton is asking Premier McGuinty to
reverse his Government’s cut to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder Clinics in
Sioux Lookout and Kenora.
Hampton says with the closure of the Clinics, hundreds of patients
will now be forced to travel to Winnipeg or Toronto and will be subjected
to long waiting lists.
The NDP Leader says he can’t understand closing the centres when it
could cost much more in terms of travel and social costs of not having
patients treated.
