The NDP will have a new candidate representing them in the next federal election.
Tania Cameron, the band manager on the Dalles First Nation north of Kenora, won the party’s nomination over the weekend.
Cameron beat out Susan Barclay, after a travelling ballot box was sent around the riding to Red Lake, Sioux Lookout,
Dryden and finally Kenora.
Cameron believes she has a chance of winning the riding from the Liberals.

Barclay had represented the NDP in the past three federal elections.
Cameron will go up against incumbant Liberal M.P. Roger Valley and Conservative candidate Greg Rickford.
