The Dryden Ice Dogs are preparing to welcome the host of this year’s National Championship.
The Dogs will face the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League this weekend in Eagle Lake First Nation.
The SIJHL team is coming off training camp and Coach Clint Mylymock says there were a couple of surprises.
Dryden enters the pre-season contest carrying 27 players, 2-more then the limit.
Saturday’s game starts at 7:30.
Puck-drop Sunday is 2:00.
