A northern Minnesota city councillor wants to bring an NFL team to Duluth.
Last week, Proctor City Council voted unanimously in favour of bringing a football franchise to Lake Superior’s north shore.
Councillor Travis White says it’s the first step in generating support for a new team and stadium, in the hopes to attract an owner to the area.
White says his hope is to get neighbouring communities to pass similar resolutions, so they can build a case file to present to a potential owner.
