Campbell Continues To Talk Winter Driving

Mixed reaction from Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell.
Campbell says she is happy the province has extended the season for studded tires in northern Ontario.
She is however quick to point out the government can’t relax on keeping highways clear.
Campbell says when it comes to some of the unpredictable weather that we’ve seen, there is no replacement for timely and well maintained winter highway maintenance.
Campbell did note that during a recent conference call, the MTO discussed the frequency of plows and re-classifying highways.
