Campbell Criticizes Government’s Travel Guide

There’s more debate about tourism in Northwestern Ontario.
During Question Period at Queen’s Park on Tuesday, Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell criticized the government’s new “Travel Guide”.
She says all ten of the suggested routes in the “Fall Colours” tourism guide are in Southern Ontario.
Campbell went on to say the guide encourages people to visit their local travel information centres, but a majority of the ones in Northwestern Ontario have been shut down and the travel app that replaced them doesn’t even work.
Campbell also mentioned the six parks in the riding have already closed for the season, along with seven others that have been closed permanently in the North.
