Canada Parks Day

A number of activities are planned at area parks Saturday to mark Canada
Parks Day.
The annual nation-wide celebration recognizes our natural and cultural
heritage.
At Blue Lake, outdoor enthusiasts are urged to take a weekend hike
and explore the beauty of the Vermilion Bay area.
An evening around the campfire learning about the region’s history and
fur trade and logging routes is planned at Quetico Park.
Rushing River will be hosting a scavenger hunt and entertainment.
