Canada Post Says Rotating Strikes Slowing Mail Delivery

Canada Post is admitting the job action by its workers is having an impact on mail delivery.

The company says its working hard to minimize the impact, but the union’s rotating strikes led to the shut downs of its largest processing facilities in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.

Trailers full of parcels, packets and mail are waiting to be unloaded and processed with more arriving daily.

Canada Post says it could be several days before that mail reaches customers.
