Canada Post has locked out 48,000 unionized workers and
suspended operations in cities across the country.
The Crown corporation says 12 days of rotating strikes have cost it an estimated $100-million.
Contract talks with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers are
expected to continue today.
Mary Aiken is the President of the Dryden Local Canadian Postal Workers Union.
Aiken says Canada Post has forced this situation and notes pensions remain the main issue.
Aiken stresses that they want an end to the dispute.
Pickets are now up at the Dryden Postal Outlet.
