The Federal Government says there will be double the jobs available this summer thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs program.
The initiative will provide funding for not-for profit organizations, public-sector employers and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create opportunities.
Kenora MP Bob Nault mentions how the program was a Liberal promise during their campaign.
The jobs will be created for young people aged 15 to 30 years old who are full time students.
