It looks like there will be a wait for the new playground from the Dryden Ball Diamonds Committee.
Due to the newly introduced Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, the original plan to use sand as a surface will not pass regulations and needs a harder surface.
Spokesperson Bob Cunningham believes the Dryden Ball Diamond Committee will have no problems raising the additional money.
Cunningham adds the changes will probably make the project have double the cost.
