Canadian Olympian Ben Johnson Coming To Dryden

A high profile athlete is paying Dryden a visit.
Canadian Olympian Ben Johnson will be in Dryden September 17th to September 22nd.
The Dryden Ice Dogs are bringing Johnson in and General Manager Brad Boyko says they are planning to make it a truly community event.
The former track and field star will be involved in a number of activities including dry land training with the Junior Hockey team and work out sessions with the Dryden Eagle High School Football team.
Boyko says Johnson has a great message for youth on not giving up on your dreams, how to achieve your dreams and the importance of not sacrificing your education.
He will also drop the puck at the Ice Dogs home opener on September 21st.
