Canadian university and college students are being encouraged to travel the world and expand their horizons.
Confederation College has teamed with partner schools globally, trying to increase the current 3-percent of Canadian students that have travelled.
Students who’ve travelled testify to the growth of their academic and career achievements, as well as communication skills, self-awareness and adaptability.
Dean of International Education at Confederation College Miriam Wall says to be exposed to other people, cultures and ways of life is invaluable, especially during a time of increasing global tension.
