There’s no question Premier Kathleen Wynne is keeping an eye on the new Northern Ontario Party.
Wynne says such parties, that advocate for separation from southern Ontario, do show up from time to time.
In an interview with our newsroom, the premier says one of her priorities is to get better representation for our region.
That could mean one, maybe two, more ridings.
Wynne wouldn’t say however, whether the formation of such a party is a reflection of how Queen’s Park is treating the north.
