Canadians May Have To Pay When Crossing Border

The U.S. government is looking at having Canadians pay each and every time we enter their country.
It’s a proposal from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
It’s seeking approval to study the feasibility of collecting a fee from pedestrians and passenger vehicles crossing into the U.S. at border crossings.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security wants Congress to authorize the study as part of its 2014 budget process.
The move is aimed at subsidizing security costs.
