Red Lake Ice Diggers Shine In Kenora

Red Lake played a major role in a successful Hockey for Health Tournament in Kenora this past weekend.
The Red Lake Ice Diggers won the Novice championship.
The Ice Diggers raised a tournament record of nearly $12,000.
The kids were on a month long mission going door to door selling raffle tickets, collecting donations, and hosting a bottle drive.
The Dryden Titans were also involved and raised $3,100.
A total of over $66,000 was brought in at the tournament.
The money is all in support of the District Hospital Foundation, twinning the ice at the Rec Centre, and the Canadian Cancer Society.
