Cancer Care Ontario Looking at Reducing Rates

Cancer Care Ontario says its working to improve access to care for patients living in Northwestern Ontario.
That was one of the topics of discussion at the annual spring forum.
Spokesperson Dr. Michael Sherar says the main focus is reducing area cancer rates.
Sherar says they need to do a better job at screening.
Dr. Sharer says despite the large distances between area hospitals, studies show patients have access to some of the best care in the province.
