Cancer Society Launches Daffodil Campaign

The Canadian Cancer Society has launched its annual Daffodil campaign in communities across the northwest.

Spokesperson Maria Cabral says this year they are hoping to raise over $10,000.

Cabral says all donations support local cancer programming.

Plastic yellow flower pins will be available for purchase all this month at various locations throughout local communities.

Cabral notes the initiative is also aimed at raising awareness in support of cancer victims.
