The Federal election campaign is in full swing in the Kenora Riding.
Incumbent and Conservative Greg Rickford says this election wasn’t called for and will end up costing taxpayers nearly $400-million.
Rickford says the other issue he is concentrating on is the fact that the Conservatives have presented a responsible budget that concentrates on stimulating the economy and creating jobs.
Liberal candidate Roger Valley says his campaign will be focus on quality access to health care as well as the economy.
Valley notes the Conservatives only want quality jobs in the Riding, not entry level positions.
He adds his party has shown a lot of growth since the 2008 vote.
NDP Candidate Tanya Cameron says she has learned a lot since her first election campaign.
Cameron says she will be concentrating on getting more seniors out of poverty as well as attracting more physicians to Northwestern Ontario.
Mike Schwindt is the Green candidate and Kelvin Chicago-Boucher is running as an Independent.
