It looks as if the Kenora riding will have at least 5 candidates on the ballot come election day.
The Green Party says it has nominated a candidate for the May 2nd National vote.
Mike Schwindt is a teacher on the Poplar Hill First Nation and has lived in the Riding for the past 5-years.
Kelvin Chicago-Boucher from Minaki has indicated that he plans to throw his hat into the ring as an Independent candidate.
They will joining Greg Rickford of the Conservatives, Tania Cameron from the NDP and Roger Valley of the Liberals.
