The Dryden Palliative Care Committee and the hospital Spiritual Care Committee are combining efforts to remember those who have passed away during the last twelve months.
Local residents are being asked to place a lighted candle or lantern on their doorstep or in their windows on Sunday night between 6:00 and 6:30 to offer support to those who are grieving a loss.
Last year, the Committee sponsored a bereavement walk and, for the last several years has hosted a memorial service to assist families and friends on their healing journeys.
The candle ceremony replaces previous in-person events because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
