18 months ago the City of Dryden was reeling form the news of 300 layoffs at Weyerhaeuser.
At that time Council started the Community Adjustment Program to help deal with the job losses.

Wintle says the situation was also helped by the fact that about 100 people who lost their jobs took early retirement & decided they didn’t need the services of CAP.
