CAP work is done

The Community Adjustment Program has finished it’s work but many of the initiaves undertaken will live on.
Sid Wintle Chaired the group started to combat the large scale layoffs at Weyerhaeuser nearly 2 years ago.
He says their work was made easier when nearly 1/3rd of the 300 people who lost their jobs opted for early retirement packages…

Among ideas that came from CAP is the nursing program which officials hope to see begin classes this fall in Dryden & other centers throughout the region.
