Three Vermont men have been charged with careless hunting after shooting a couple of deer in the Kenora area.
This past October, the three hunters were travelling near the Minaki Highway, when they spotted a deer standing in a field.
They stopped and two men got out of the truck and shot across the road at the deer.
They went into the field, which was private property, saw another buck and killed it as well.
Each man has been fined 25 hundred dollars, and have been banned from hunting in Ontario for one year.
Their guns and the deer were also forfeited to the crown.
