Carleton Place Eliminated From RBC Cup

The season has come to an end for Dryden’s Geoff Kitt and Jordan Larson of Fort Frances.

The Carleton Place Canadians were eliminated from the RBC Junior Hockey championship Thursday after suffering a 5-4 loss to Brooks.

The Canadians needed a win to stay alive and they finished the tournament with an 0-4 record.

Kitt finished the RBC cup with six penalty minutes, while Larson picked up an assist.

The Semi-Finals will feature Dudley Hewitt Cup champion Trenton and the host team from Lloydminster.

The Brooks Bandits will play West Kelowna.

Both games are scheduled for Saturday.
