Classrooms at Catholic schools could be empty this fall.
The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association says its members could be walking the picket lines by mid-August.
The union is seeking a “no-board report” in conciliated talks that started last month with the province.
Teachers will be in a legal strike position, 17 days after the report is issued.
The union says the province and trustees group are unwilling to move on proposals it says will impact student learning and the working environment.
