Catholic Teachers Vote For Strike Action

Don’t expect a strike by Catholic teachers before the end of the school year.

Mike Pozihun of the local Catholic Teachers Association says contract talks on the provincial level haven’t even reached a conclusion.

He say any potential job action won’t happen unless talks run out of steam.

Pozihun says the earliest they could see a strike is the start of next school year.

Right now Pozihun says the teachers have voted 94.2% in favour of strike action.
