The Sioux Lookout Fire Department continues to investigate the cause of a fire at Dick and Nellies.
Fire Chief Rob Favot says the fire was reported around 6:15 Sunday night and was extinguished around 8:20.
Favot says the fire started in the kitchen area and ignited near the hot water tanks.
Favot adds they are waiting for the Insurance Adjuster to come in.
The popular restaurant suffered considerable smoke and heat damage.
Favot says it could be some time before the restaurant will be able to reopen.
