Cause of Fires Under Investigation

Enforcement personnel are investigating the cause of 8-fires ignited
on the CN Railway line east of Fort Frances.
The fires consumed about 10-hectares of land on Tuesday but thanks to
the Ministry of Natural Resources, Couchiching Fire Department and CN
staff, no property was damaged.
Meantime, MNR crews were called to Bending Lake Road, southwest of
Ignace Wednesday after a truck caught on fire.
Crews were able to stop the spread of the blaze and no one was injured.
