CCAC Launches Telehomecare Program

People living with chronic heart disease and other health related conditions can now get health care services from their home.
It’s part of the Northwest Community Care Access Centre’s Telehomecare program.
Spokesperson Marg Milani says people will enter their vitals into a Telehomecare program installed in their residence.
A nurse will be checking to see if the patient is doing ok and if not, action will take action.
Milani says they’re looking for interested patients.
Interested parties can contact the CCAC or they can be referred to by a physician or a hospital.
The program was made possible through funding from the local health authority.
