CCL Pleased Province Is Taking Action On Climate Change

An Ontario lobby group is applauding the provincial government for tackling greenhouse gas emissions.
Glen Murray the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change has released a discussion paper on creating a clean energy economy.
Christine Penner-Polle from the Citizen’s Climate Lobby is thrilled the government is turning to the public for feedback.
The government has opened a 45 day public consultation period on the discussion paper and Penner-Polle is encouraging local residents to speak out.
She says our region will be hit the hardest by climate change.
