Two days of fun are planned in Ear Falls as the community hosts WinterFest 2018.
Mayor Kevin Kahoot says everything starts Thursday afternoon at 5:00 with a Curling Bonspiel and East Coast party at the Arena.
A majority of the events are Friday.
There will be kids activities, horse carriage rides, a pie making contest, a Chili Cook-Off, Photo Scavenger Hunt and a Crib Tournament at the Seniors Centre.
Easter Friday starts with a Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at the Seniors Centre.
At dusk, the Ear Falls Fire Department is hosting a bonfire and hot dog roast outside the Arena.
The day will conclude with a volunteer-led Fireworks display.
Mayor Kevin Kahoot is spearheading the community celebration, stressing it’s a long time coming.
Kahoot says he wants to bring everyone together for two days of fun and socializing.
