Celebrating Franco-Ontarian Day

Today is a day to celebrate Ontario’s Francophone population.
It is Franco-Ontarian Day.
Northwestern Ontario Francophone Association’s Audrey Debruyne says it was first adopted in Ontario four years.
The first time it was recognized in northwestern Ontario was in 2012.
A total of 15 communities are taking part in flag raising ceremonies today.
