Centennial Celebrations Outlined at Meeting

The Dryden 2010 Committee received a good turnout Thursday night as the group updated the public on preparations for Dryden’s 100th Birthday.
The Committee is hoping to get area youth involved with school kids creating the “biggest quilt Dryden has ever seen.”
Other plans include holding a Heritage Fair, Art show and Street Festival during the 2010 celebrations.
Sports and Recreation will also be a highlight in 2010 with plans to include Traditional activities including log rolling and greasy pole contests.
The main event will be the Canadian Windsurfing Championship.
