CEP Reaches Four Year Deal With Barwick Mill

The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union has reached a new 4-year contract with the Ainsworth Mill in Barwick.
National and Local rep Stephen Boon says the 130 members voted 77% in favour of the deal.
The agreement provides a wage increase of 10% over the course of the contract.
Boon notes the deal offers long-term stability for the Barwick Mill while providing stronger contract language and major monetary improvements for the workers.
