CEP Reaches New Deal With Fort Frances Company

The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada ratified a new deal with a Fort Frances Company.
The 5-year-deal with Sonoco includes a 500 dollar lump sum payment follows by 1.5%, 1.75%, 2% and 2.5% annual increases in the final four years of the agreement.
The deal also looks to improve language and benefits.
Sonoco provides paper cores for use in rolls of paper at Resolute and other area paper mills.
