Change in Instruction for Public School Board

Starting in September, the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will offer Ojibwe and French language programming in Grade 4.
The program had started in Grade 1, however the Board wanted to direct more attention on literacy learning.
Director of Education Jack McMaster says they are following Provincial direction.
McMaster notes that the move will result in roughly 300-additional hours of literacy programming.
