Wildfires Spark in Dryden Area

Two fires are under investigation by Dryden Police.
Firefighters were called Wednesday to the Elm Bay Road area after a blaze ignited behind a home.
The flames spread over a large area into the forest but was contained by some 20-firefighters.
Later in the Day, crews were called after 5-spot grass fires were seen burning along the Trans-Canada Highway near Wal-Mart.
The Ministry of Natural Resources was called to assist in both cases.
