Change in Radio Coverage Coming in Atikokan

CKDR’s sister station in Fort Frances may soon be serving the community of Atikokan.
Northwoods Broadcasting has announced that they have applied to the CRTC to restore CFOB’s signal.
CKDR has served the community of Atikokan for several years but after meeting with residents and businesses, the company determined Atikokan has stronger ties with Fort Frances.
The switch-over is expected to be approved and should be completed by late Summer.
