A number of innovative projects are on the horizon this year for Dryden Telephone.
Manager Ivan Probizanski says establishing a fibre optics network in the Dryden area to Thunder Bay with the help of the 807 consortium is already moving ahead.
He says the conversion from analog to digital cellular phones will also take place over the next few years.
Wireless internet is another project Dryden Tel hopes to launch by mid-year.
Probizanski says wireless internet would use existing towers and the service would be available to residents within a 15-kilometre radius of Dryden.
