Striking civil servants including foresters, biologists and technicians with the Ministry of Natural Resources are concerned the public will miss critical information.
The MNR is holding open houses today and tomorrow in Dryden and Ignace on the Wabigoon Forest Management Plan.
Dryden-area union president Dick de Groot says key people in the forest management review process will not be there and he feels the meetings will be weakened in their absence.
He encourages people to ask tough questions concerning a sustainable wood supply, clear-cutting, wildlife management and environmental damage.
