Character Education #1

The Keewatin Patricia District School Board is inching

closer to completing a board wide character education plan.

Superintendent of Education Larry Hope says they will be

giving 500 dollars to each school principal to help purchase

educational materials.

Hope says the boards character educaation plan contains

elements from the First Nations Grandfather teachings of

responsibility, kindness, respect, humility, bravery,

honesty and wisdom.

Hope adds character education will be unique to each

school in the board, and should be fully implemented by

September.
