Charges Laid in 2-Vehicle Crash

Kenora OPP have laid charges in Sunday’s 2-vehicle collision on
Highway 17, just west of Clearwater Bay.
Police say around 4 o’clock, a westbound transport lost control and
crossed into the eastbound lane, striking an on-coming tractor-trailer unit.
The driver of the eastbound truck was transported to Winnipeg Hospital
with non-life threatening injuries.
The unidentified driver of the westbound tractor-trailer unit faces
1-count of failing to drive in a marked lane.
The crash forced the closure of the Trans-Canada for 3 hours.
