Anyone interested in campaigning for or against fluoride in Dryden’s
drinking water can now find out more information by contacting the clerk’s
office or by going to the City’s website, www.dryden.ca.
A byelection on the issue is scheduled for April 14th.
Clerk Colleen Brosseau says Federal and Provincial political parties
and registered candidates as well as the Crown, Municipalities and local
board’s are unable to contribute financially to a campaign.
The Municipal Act states a local board would include public health
units.
Anyone interested in registering must follow certain rules and spending limits.
