The Liberals have picked up a high profile candidate for the riding of Algoma-Manitoulin.
Charles Fox, who is from Bearskin Lake First Nation, has won the nomination.
Fox is a former Grand Chief of the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation and a former Ontario Regional Chief.
He and his wife now operate Penasi Group Homes.
So humbled by all those that supported me to be their @ontario_liberal candidate for Algoma-Manitoulin tonight. I am going to fight hard to be your voice for the North at Queen’s Park. #onpoli pic.twitter.com/JqlmQgZYVj
