The Golden Learning Centre in Red Lake has announced the winners of their Remembrance Day poster and literacy competition.
Grade 7 students Kacey Mota and McKenna Kristoff joined Grade 3 student Naleena Marion in the winners circle.
The three advanced to the next level and won the District #7 title, an area from the Manitoba boundary to Thunder Bay as well as Zone #13, an area that includes Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Hudson and Ignace.
Mota, Kristoff and Marion were joined by school Principal Debra Geary, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #102 President Gary Gazankas as well as Legion Zone Commander Tim Wall.
