WestJet and Air Canada have both announced an increase in checked bag fees.
Your first checked bag is going up to $30 from $25.
For a second bag, you will have to pay $50 instead of $30.
The hike takes affect for WestJet customers on October 1st, with Air Canada boosting fees on October 5th.
Both companies say the move is made to help off-set rising costs and maintain lower fares for their guests.
