The Dryden Regional Health Centre has received over $16,000
for equipment upgrades and expansion in the chemotherapy unit.
The cash is from the Northern Cancer Research Foundation and
Spokesperson Bridgette Parker says it allows patients to stay at home.
The Hospital is using the money to purchase new equipment, chairs and a
computer workstation.
The Foundation is also giving the Meno-Ya-Win Hospital nearly
$10,000 for equipment upgrades.
