Highway 594 from the Duke Street Bridge to Gordon Road will be
reconstructed this summer thanks to the Province.
Dryden has received $475,000 from the Connecting Link
program.
Dryden was looking for funding for the design work of 5-laning Highway
17, however the Province selected the City’s second and third priorities instead.
The City will use a small chunk of the money to launch a bridge condition
survey for the Duke Street Bridge on Highway 594.
The city is also accepting $870,000 from the Move Ontario intiative
to upgrade several roads.
