Metis Nation of Ontario Offering Tele-Health

Tele-health technology has been expanded in Northwestern Ontario.
The Metis Nation of Ontario is now offering the service on a trial
basis at its Dryden office.
Spokesperson Loma Rowlinson says mental health is their priority right
now but stresses the program will be expanded to include diagnostic treatment in the near future.
Tele-health will also be available in Kenora and Fort Frances and the
entire program should be fully operational by August.
The long term plan is to have the program operational in remote
communities in the North.
